Odiham development progresses

19th October 2022

In May 2022 Crowdstacker raised £215,000 for a development in Odiham, an historic village in Hampshire.  The project is to convert a period property on the high street into two semi-detached houses.

Check out progress so far.

The scope of the works includes a full strip out and some reconfiguration of room layout.  Most of the building will be stripped back so that the homes can offer comfortable living for families over three floors.  En-suite bathrooms, large master suites and a first floor snug to make the most of the views, are all on the cards to create some truly attractive homes.

First steps towards the end goal

The work commenced over the summer and now the developer has reported back with some photographs of the progress being made.  This stage of the build can often be as much about 'destruction' as 'construction' which is reflected in the images showing walls stripped back to brick and uncovering original floorboards.  In addition the external works to create the parking areas and gardens is also being carried out.

Strong interest already shown

The sales agent, Savills, is already reporting active interest in the properties, so the developer is hopeful of securing off-plan sales before the end of the year.
